First flight for Vintage Wings of Canada’s Spitfire Mk IXe

Vintage Wings of Canada’s Spitfire HF Mk.IXe TE294 made its first post-restoration flight on June 7. The aircraft carries the colours and markings of a Spitfire Mk IX from No 442 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force during the summer of 1944.
