Fairey Firefly AS.6 WD840 has been sold to an undiclosed buyer in Europe. The aircraft is currently being restored by QG Aviation in Fort Collins, Colorado, and will be the first airworthy Firefly in Europe since the loss of the Royal Navy’s Historic Flight Firefly AS.5 in 2003.
