Fagen Fighters acquires F6F Hellcat

The Fagen Fighters WWII Museum has reported the acquisition of Grumman F6F Hellcat BuNo 78645. The aircraft was previously with the Yanks Air Museum in California. It will undergo an extensive IRAN (Inspect and Repair As Necessary) and should fly again by the summer of 2019. Source: Aerodynamic Media

TFC F6F Hellcat flies again

Flying Heritage Collection F6F Hellcat first flight

Flying Heritage Collection test flew their newly restored Grumman F6F-5N for the very first time on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 with Steve Hinton at the controls. The Flying Heritage Collection’s F6F Hellcat was recently restored and its first post-restoration engine runs were carried out yesterday, January 25. The aircraft is yet to receive its definitive markings.
