First flight for Hangar10’s rare Messerchmitt Bf 109G-12

Hangar10’s Messerschmitt Bf 109G-12, a Hispano Aviación Buchón restored to the G-12 standard by Meier Motors using an original DB 605 engine, made its first flight on August 4 with Charlie Brown at the controls. Messerschmitt Bf 109G flies in Germany

The Messerschmitt Bf 109G D-FOON belonging to The Fighter Factory has been restored to airworthiness by Meier Motors and made it maiden flight yesterday with Charlie Brown at the controls. Another test flight took place today, and in-flight photos were taken.

Spanish Civil War veteran Bf 109E to be restored

German-based warbirds restairation company Meier Motors has revealed on its website that it has been tasked to restore a Bf 109E to airworthiness. F4U-5NL first post-restoration flight

F4U-5NL BuNo 125541 (F-AZYS) flew its first post-restoration flight on May 5, 2011 with Achim Meier at the controls. The aircraft was previously in F4U-7 configuration and carried French Navy colours. The restoration to its original configuration and colours was carried out by Meier Motors in Germany.
