(When I was the Air Eng. Workshops Officer…………..and a sea fishing associate). I well remember the instructions to repaint the Yachting club`s (Safety cutter), Dayglow Red, so as to allow easy search and find, if we were at sea fishing and he was required to be picked up by the `Chopper`.
My wife also remembers the flowers sent by Mrs. Roberts ,within two hours of the birth of my daughter, in 1964, when we were in Married quarters at Culdrose. A geat “Skipper” to have known . A sad loss to the Fleet. Peter Squibb………
