PBY Canso to perform first post-restoration flight with its WW2 pilots in attendance

The 1943 Canadian-built PBY-5A Canso (former RCAF11094) should fly again on June 18 following a nine-year restoration. The flight is slated to take place at Fairview Airport with two of its former pilots in attendance: 94-year-old Hal Burns and 99-year-old James McCrae, who both flew the machine during its service in WW2.
