Continue reading]]> Bravo Bravo Aviation, editor of World Warbird News, is proud to present the new version of its website. The new website is better-looking and comes loaded with useful features, especially when viewed from a tablet or smartphone.

We’ve also made improvements to the way orders are handled: not only are shipping fees are now calculated more precisely to make sure you don’t pay too much, we are also offering free shipping for orders over 50€ !

Creating the new website has been quite time-consuming, and only a handful of new prints have been added recently. Now that we’re done creating the new version, we’ll shortly be adding many new exciting types to our collection: Hawker Hurricane, Mirage IIIE, Gee Bee QED, DH.88 Comet, de Havilland Moth ou encore Dewoitine D.520 pour n’en citer que quelques-uns…

Here are some of the new features that you’ll discover on the new website:

Optimized search

Our search engine now makes it possible to search products more precisely. For example, you can type in a pilot’s name, a unit or a year and a list of relevant prints will be suggested.

In addition to the improved search engine, you can browse our prints by categories:

• Browse by timeframe: search prints corresponding to a specific period (ex: World War two, Gulf War) or even a specific operation or event (ex: Battle of Britain, 1934 McRobertson race).
• Browse by operator: search for prints corresponding to a specific country (ex: USA) or even a specific operator (ex: US Marine Corps).
• Browse by aircraft type
  
• Browse by theme: special decorations (ex: Tiger Meet), aerobatic demonstration teams (ex: Patrouille de France), or other themes (fighter aces, racing aircraft, etc.).
• Browse by artist: view all of an artist’s available prints.

Fairer (and cheaper!) shipping fees

The shipping fee is now calculated based on the product’s size and destination. No more paying excessive S&H fees!

In addition, shipping is now free for orders of 50€ or more. (Previously, free shipping was available for orders of 100€ or more).

Improved user experience

You now have the possibility of creating an account on the website, giving you access to several practical features:

• Order history and details: keep track of your orders, access to the details of past orders, etc.

• Addresses and personal information: manage your personal information, shipping/billing addresses and newsletter subscription from your user account.
• Wishlists: create and manage wishlists, and keep track of the prints you like!

Continue reading]]> Bravo Bravo Aviation, the publisher of World Warbird News, turned five on January 16, 2014. To celebrate, we decided to hand out a few gifts to our fans and followers. From January 16 to February 15, you can try your luck and hope to win one of five A5 prints, to be chosen from our catalog on the website.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Become a fan of Bravo Bravo Aviation on Facebook by going to our Facebook page and clicking on “Like”.
2. Leave us a birthday message or greeting of your choice under the 5th anniversary announcement.
3. That’s it! The five winners will be randomly picked between February 16 and 23, and will be contacted via their Facebook account.
