The Fagen Fighters WWII Museum has reported the acquisition of Grumman F6F Hellcat BuNo 78645. The aircraft was previously with the Yanks Air Museum in California. It will undergo an extensive IRAN (Inspect and Repair As Necessary) and should fly again by the summer of 2019.

The Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat of The Fighter Collection flew for the first time in 5 years on Friday May 23rd. The aircraft was flown by chief pilot Pete Kynsey. The aircraft will be presented during the Flying Legends airshow.

Flying Heritage Collection test flew their newly restored Grumman F6F-5N for the very first time on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 with Steve Hinton at the controls. The Hellcat is their latest addition to the collection and will be flying for the 2013 season here at Paine Field in Everett, Washington.
