<p>Koss said the maneuver was not in accordance with the Navy&#8217;s airborne standards and added: &#8220;This maneuver, combined with other instances of not meeting the  airborne standard that makes the Blue Angels the exceptional  organization that it is, led to my decision to step down&#8221;.<span id="more-157"></span></p>
<p>The team has canceled its upcoming appearances but is continuing to practice and should resume its appearances later in the season.</p>
<p>A video of the incident is available. At the end of the video, the four-ship formation can be seen recovering at an estimated altitude of 130 feet, when the minimum should have been 500.</p>
