Replica Fokker Dr. I takes to the skies again at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome celebrated another milestone as its replica Fokker Dr.I triplane returned to flight on October 18, 2026. The aircraft, a faithful reproduction of the iconic World War I fighter, underwent a full restoration including newly built wings and detailed structural work. The project was carried out by the museum’s skilled volunteers to ensure continued safe operation and preserve the flying heritage of early aviation.
