Squadron Leader Jock Maitland †

Squadron Leader Jock Maitland, who has died aged 87, flew fighters during the Korean War and the Suez and Oman conflicts before developing the wartime Battle of Britain airfield at Biggin Hill into a successful civil airport. Read his obituary on the Telegraph.
