A superb Albatros D.Va replica built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd. has arrived at the Shuttleworth Collection in Old Warden, in the United-Kingdom. Powered by a Mercedes D.IIIa engine, this replica wears the colours of an aircraft flown by 20-victory German ace Otto Kissenberth. The aircraft belongs to Oliver Wulff and is on loan to the WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust.
Visit Warbirds News for more info and superb photos of the aircraft.
Beautiful aircraft. I like the propellers in the background. I wonder if those are original props or used props built for flying replicas. It would be a pleasure to manufacture a wooden propeller for these wonderful flying machines!!
