Albatros D.Va replica arrives at Old Warden

A superb Albatros D.Va replica built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd. has arrived at the Shuttleworth Collection in Old Warden, in the United-Kingdom. Powered by a Mercedes D.IIIa engine, this replica wears the colours of an aircraft flown by 20-victory German ace Otto Kissenberth. The aircraft belongs to Oliver Wulff and is on loan to the WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust.

  1. Beautiful aircraft. I like the propellers in the background. I wonder if those are original props or used props built for flying replicas. It would be a pleasure to manufacture a wooden propeller for these wonderful flying machines!!
