A rare Dornier Do 17 has been located by sonar off the coast of Kent in the UK. On 26 August 1940, a Do 17Z from 7./KG 3 was shot down and force-landed on a sandbank on the coast of Kent, where it disappeared in the sand. First flight of 3/4-scale Mosquito replica in France
A 3/4-scale replica of the de Havilland Mosquito made its maiden flight on Saturday April 23, 2011 in France.
