At the Yankee Air Museum in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the prototype Armstrong Whitworth Argosy, G-AOZZ/N896U, has been scrapped, nearly 54 years after it made its maiden flight from Bitteswell Aerodrome, Leicestershire.
