Walkaround: Morane Type H
This 1913 Morane Type H was restored in the nineties and is flown by the Amical Jean-Baptiste Salis at La Ferté-Alais. It is a classic aircraft and a pleasure to the eye. Walkaround: Morane-Saulnier MS.317
These pictures are of a Morane-Saulnier MS.317 registered F-HCJD. They were taken at the annual meeting in La Ferté-Alais in 2011. The MS.317 was a re-engined MS.315, powered by a 220 hp Continental W-670K instead of the original 135 hp Salmson 9Nc. Some forty aircraft were converted in this manner in the 1950s and 1960s.
