The last surviving HA-1112-M4L Buchón (G-AWHC), a twin-seater variant of the Buchón, flew again yesterday at Sywell Aerodrome in the UK. Richard Grace was at the controls and made two flights.The aircraft was part of Connie Edwards’ collection, which was sold in 2014. More information and videos on the Sywell Aerodrome Facebook page.

Allison-engined Bf 109 of the Erickson Aircraft Collection flies
On April 22, John Romain made the first flight of Bf 109G-10 registered N90602 in Madras, Oregon. It is a Hispano Buchón, re-engined with an Allison engine. Connie Edward’s Buchóns to be restored in Switzerland

Buchon flies again in Duxford
On May 6, 2011, the Hispano Aviación HA-1112 “Buchon” registered as G-AWHE made its first flight in the hands of John Romain. The aircraft was one of those used during the filming of the classic movie The Battle of Britain, and had not flown since. The first flight was succesful and flight testing will continue. …
