A French Aero L-39 Albatros operated by “Les Ailes de Pégase” crash-landed in a forest Gironde, France, on Saturday April 30th. Both the pilot and passenger survived the crash landing and were evacuated to a nearby hospital.

Pacific Aviation Museum receives a T-33
The Pacific Aviation Museum has received a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star jet trainer, which became the museum’s 28th aircraft. The aircraft was used at Honolulu Community College, and was donated to the museum. Two killed in Yak-52 accident
Two people were killed in the crash of their Yak-52 during an aerobatic training flight over Fontenay-Trésigny airfield(France). The causes of the accident are yet unknown.

P-40C takes to the air again
On 17 April 2011, a rare P-40C Tomahawk flew again in New Zealand, after a five and a half-year restoration by Avspecs Ltd. Test pilot John Lamont was satisfied with the handling of the aircraft, which has been painted to represent 2Lt. George Welch’s aircraft at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack.
