L-39 crash-lands in France

A French Aero L-39 Albatros operated by “Les Ailes de Pégase” crash-landed in a forest Gironde, France, on Saturday April 30th. Both the pilot and passenger survived the crash landing and were evacuated to a nearby hospital.

Pacific Aviation Museum receives a T-33

The Pacific Aviation Museum has received a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star jet trainer, which became the museum’s 28th aircraft. The aircraft was used at Honolulu Community College, and was donated to the museum. P-40C takes to the air again

On 17 April 2011, a rare P-40C Tomahawk flew again in New Zealand, after a five and a half-year restoration by Avspecs Ltd. Test pilot John Lamont was satisfied with the handling of the aircraft, which has been painted to represent 2Lt. George Welch’s aircraft at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack.
